Overview

A variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) can be packaged into nanoparticles for different applications. The API is referred to as the payload within the nanoparticle carrier.  These payloads include traditional small molecule drugs, proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids or combinations thereof.  Numerous APIs have been encapsulated in a variety of different nanoparticle carriers using NanoAssemblr™ technology and reported in the literature.
